- Have certifications like ISTQB / CSM [Agile] / PMP / PRINCE2
Job description:
- Understand client's technical / application landscape, business drivers, requirements , product strategy, market / regulatory / compliance impacts on the Project / Portfolio pipeline
- Assess client's QA / Test / Product Development Life cycle, and Release Management Processes & Practices
- Design and deliver a framework based on the Test Processes
- Support Sales team in responding to RFPs, Client Calls, Questionnaire and SOWs
- Independently design Test Strategies for complex business functionality
- Drive Quality Methodologies and Best Practices across the client organization
- Conduct trainings on Test Methodologies, Testing Techniques, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Metrics and Measurement etc. as needed
- Provide recommendations on suitable Testing Tools & Infrastructure
- Assess the technical skillset of the client's QA organization
- Should be conversant with all forms of QA Life Cycle from Smoke Testing to Regression, Functional, Non-functional (Performance, Security) and Automation Testing
- Work with key stakeholders at the client location and build strong, trusted relationships
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Must have 8 - 15 years of relevant experience in QA / Test Process Consulting and also in Program / Project Management
- Good experience in full Software Life Cycle including Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Experience in implementation of TCoE (Test Center of Excellence) at client locations
- Experience in providing recommendations to the client on Test Process, Testing Tools, Infrastructure, Environment Management, Release Management, Automation and Non-functional Testing
- Experience in defining roadmap for implementing Test Process and TCoE
- Should be conversant with all forms of QA Life Cycle from Smoke Testing to Regression, Functional, Non-functional (Performance, Security) and Automation Testing
- Experience on Test Management Tools like Quality Center / ALM, Rally, Jira, etc.
- Strong client interaction capabilities to undertake existing process framework studies
- Successful presentations to executives and senior management
