Skill:

•  Good knowledge of both MySQL and InnoDB including performance tuning, 
• configuration and all aspects of monitoring, 
• experience in handling Schema changes using ALTER command on tables ranging from few gigabytes to terabytes in size, 
• Experience in modifying and developing scripts (shell, Perl or python) to automate regular tasks and monitoring aspects.

• Knowledge of Linux and Apache.

• Knowledge of RDBMS architecture required
• Experience of Mysql Installation & Upgradation
• Experience of Mysql Master-Master & Master Slave Replication

Desired Skills:    

• Should have clear understanding of DB optimization and configuration
• Should have better understanding of server side configuration of MySQL
• Knowledge of Mongo DB would be beneficial
• Experience of BI Reports would be added advantage

               
Job Description:               

• Candidates would be responsible for database design and administration of high traffic Ecommerce websites.
• Monitoring and optimizing Mysql database performance and suggest expansion planning. (Specially working in MyISAM & INNODB Storage engines)
• Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems for high availability and scalable applications.
• Suggest the best practices for database upgrade solutions for new projects.
• Shell Scripting and automation of frequently used tasks
• He would be working in coordination with development team and System Administrator.
• Candidate should have experience of Database Monitoring using Monitoring tools
• Mysql Queries Optimizations & experience of writing complex Queries, Stored Procedures & Triggers

Education:         

• Graduate
• MCA/BE Computers would be an added advantage.
