Following is the Job Description.
Responsibility:
Ø Managing Production Support Shift Operations in India and Working with Production Support Lead
Ø Working with Lead for Status reporting; People Management; Career-Planning for Team and doing regular reviews
Ø End to End Handing of Finacleapplication production issues with respective Shift Leads whom work rangingfrom Ticket assignment including Issues analysis, Code fix, SIT Testing, UAT Testplanning (Scope , duration),UAT support for user,Source promotion to production.
Ø Own Production Support Processes andReporting(xls, pivoting, ppt, swimlanes, etc)
Ø Own and monitor, track Finacle BAUrelease processes into production.
Ø Managing & Guiding the teammembers with Shift Leads
Ø Managing critical issues (managingreporting, escalations, fixes)
Ø Owncommunication for MajorIncidents (SLA breaches, Application MajorIncidents, Logistics issue)and responsible for communications with senior management
Ø Manage/coordinate recurring issuesand ensure long-term resolution through proper Incident and Problem Management
Ø Actas a facilitator and coordinate between various teams like Infrastructure, development team to resolve, analysis of root cause forcomplex issues and outages
Ø Strong stakeholder management skillswith main focus on continuous service improvement, consistent delivery and stability of production.
Ø Establish required process for transfer of production supportwork to offshorein a risk mitigated manner.
Requirements:
Ø 7-15 years of experience in theBanking industry with minimum 3+ years in Run-the-Bank (RTB) lead role with a proven track record ofworking in Finacle environment
Ø Experience in Finacle application in code development and fixes (Finacle scripting, product,JRXML,Reports, etc)
Ø Previous experience with a goodunderstanding of RDBMS / Unix / Large bankingapplication
Ø Strong team player, effective atcommunicating internationally and used to working closely with remote teams
Ø Good knowledge of infrastructure technologies used, with focus on AIX/Oracle/Java
Ø Solid understanding of BAU support,incident, problem management processes as well as escalation management across a diversified environment
Ø Understanding of Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, BusinessContinuity, IT SecurityArchitecture, and ITRegulatory Compliance.
Ø Present facts and recommendationseffectively in oral and written form
Ø Pro-active, independent, resourcefuland able to work in a team
Ø High attention to detailwith focus on understanding the issues with finding solutionsTechnology Requirements
Ø Production support Experience on Finacle platform
Ø Software Configuration Mgmt, QualityControl Mgmt, Version Control Mgmt
Ø Operating System - AIX / Linux / Windows
Ø Database – Oracle / PL/SQL
Ø Application Servers – IBM Websphere
Ø Middleware technology – MQ, File transfers
