MSSQL Database Administrator Jobs - DBA Openings

Experience : 5-6 Years

SKILLS:

1. Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server related DBA activities.

2. Knowledgeable of all aspects Microsoft SQL Server including administration, replication, backup/restore procedures and related components such as Reporting Services, Analysis Services and Integration Services.

3. Reviews service related reports (e.g.: database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs

4. Perform operations like:

• Execute and verify scripts, upgrades, migrations, patching, bug fixes, configuration and validation.
• Owns, tracks and resolves database related incidents and requests
• Schedule jobs, backup and restore databases
• Maintains database support tools, database tables and dictionaries
• Process database change requests, including the creation and modification of databases, tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, jobs, etc. in accordance with change control policies.
• Assist with Windows Server configuration and management as it relates to MS SQL Server installation and performance.
• Install, configure, monitor and maintain databases in the production, development, and quality assurance environments.
